Let’s try to take some positives out of the terrible situation we all find ourselves in . Take the time to reflect on what and who is really important to you and make a promise to yourself to appreciate all the amazing things you have in your life.

• Find a routine that suits you – though don’t beat yourself up if you don’t stick to it.
• Don’t get hung up on the kids schoolwork –you are not a teacher & the world will not end if they miss a few hours schooling.
• Except the situation – you have no control of the situation,try not to plan too much and try not to get angry or annoyed as this will create anxiety .It is what it is.
• Appreciate down time – read that book you’ve been wanting to read, catch up on all those box sets on Netflix or play a board game with the family.
• Use this time to start a new hobby.
• Don’t watch news updates constantly – it will only make you more obsessed and anxious.
• Make a bucket list – write down every time you wished you could do something and make a promise to do everything when we get through this.
• Enjoy doing everything in your PJs!!!!
• Play around with different ways to stay in touch -it may not be the same as face to face and physical contact but we can still have fun and stay connected. There are
so many different apps out there now including ; skype , zoom , houseparty; messenger , WhatsApp , facetime. Don’t be
scared to use them and play around with them
